Important Notice
This Acceptable Use Policy sets out what you may and may not do when using WIRE. Violating it may result in suspension or termination of your account. It supplements, and is part of, our Terms of Service.
1. Purpose & Scope
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of the WIRE platform, applications, websites, and related services ("the Service"), operated by WIREX TRADE PTE. LTD. (UEN 202609089W). It applies to all users of the Service.
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to comply with this AUP and our Terms of Service.
2. Permitted Use
WIRE is a software toolkit for designing, testing, and learning about automated trading strategies. You may use the Service to:
- Build, configure, and backtest automated trading strategies for your own use
- Learn about trading concepts and strategy automation
- Share strategies and participate in community features in good faith
- Connect your own exchange accounts via API keys to operate your own strategies
3. Prohibited Activities
You must not use the Service to:
- Violate any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation
- Engage in or facilitate money laundering, terrorist financing, fraud, or other financial crime
- Infringe the intellectual property or other rights of any person
- Harass, threaten, defame, or harm other users or third parties
- Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation
- Use the Service if you are located in, or a resident of, a jurisdiction where cryptocurrency trading or trading automation is prohibited
- Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service without our written permission
4. Trading & Market Conduct
You must not use the Service to engage in abusive or manipulative market activity, including but not limited to:
- Market manipulation, such as spoofing, layering, wash trading, or pump-and-dump schemes
- Insider trading or trading on the basis of material non-public information
- Any strategy designed primarily to disrupt or distort fair and orderly markets
- Circumventing the rules, rate limits, or terms of any connected exchange
You are solely responsible for ensuring your trading activity complies with the rules of any exchange you connect and all laws applicable to you.
5. System & Security
You must not:
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service, other accounts, or our systems
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service without our prior written consent
- Introduce malware, viruses, or any malicious or harmful code
- Interfere with, disrupt, or place an unreasonable load on the Service or its infrastructure
- Use bots, scrapers, or automated means to access the Service in a way not expressly permitted
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service except as permitted by law
- Circumvent or attempt to circumvent usage limits, billing, or access controls
6. Content & Community
When submitting content or participating in community features, you must not post or share material that:
- Is unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading
- Constitutes financial, investment, or tax advice presented as professional guidance
- Promises or guarantees trading profits or specific returns
- Is hateful, harassing, obscene, or otherwise objectionable
- Contains spam, unsolicited advertising, or referral abuse
- Infringes the rights of others or discloses others' private information
7. API Keys & Third-Party Services
When connecting third-party exchange accounts, you are responsible for the security and appropriate configuration of your API keys, including restricting permissions (for example, disabling withdrawal permissions where not required). You must comply with the terms of service of any exchange or third-party service you connect through WIRE.
8. Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations of this AUP and take any action we consider appropriate, including issuing warnings, removing content, restricting features, and suspending or terminating accounts — with or without notice, depending on the severity. Where required, we may report unlawful activity to the relevant authorities.
